Tim of Abdulla khan

Our today practise is Tim of Abdulla khan .



 

  Abdullakhan Timi is the largest covered shopping center in Bukhara. It was built during the reign of Abdullah Khan. (1577). The base of Abdullakhan temple is square (39X42 m), closed on 3 sides, and is entered with a pediment in the form of a head. There are arched shelves on both sides of the walls. A high-domed porch surrounds the tim. The mionsaray in the middle (diameter - 10 m) is covered with a high dome. Light shines through arched openings under the dome. Corridor around Mionsaray. There were shops with dome roofs in the small corridors. The building is made of adobe (22x27x3.5 cm), the walls are plastered, and almost no ornaments have been preserved. In the past, silk and wool gauze were traded here. Abdullakhan Timi is considered to be the largest among the shopping stalls and buildings in Bukhara, and it is very complex and beautiful in terms of its shape and appearance. It has been renovated several times. 


The market is also known as a Trading dome, built during the time of the Bukhara ruler Iskander Khan, but named after his son Abdullah Khan. The word Tim itself means a closed room for public use, from where the market takes its name.The main difference between the Shopping Dome and other bazaars is that it is completely closed and has a gate on the west side. The bazaar is built in the Persian style, which is why it resembles the traditional market of ancient Iranian cities.It is attractive because it is cool here in any weather, and the sun's rays reach the benches only through the holes in the dome.Here you can buy famous Bukhara carpets, various handicrafts, paintings, musical instruments and much more.Tim Abdullah Khan, like many other sights of Bukhara .  





Trade has long been the most common business in the East. Heavy caravans passed along the Great Silk Road, selling, exchanging and buying goods. And one of the trade centers on the caravan route was Bukhara.The city is famous not only for the masterpieces of architectural art, but also for its craftsmen, bazaars and shops. One of these bazaars is Tim Abdullah Khan, built in the XVI century in the historical center of Bukhara.

 Day 1  HELLO EVERBODY  Today our first practise day . Our first practise day become very good .  Today We went Chorbakr . Now I give some informatsion about there . Five kilometers away to the west from Bukhara, where the fields are separated by rows of mulberry trees, there is one of the most unusual landmarks – the Chor-Bakr Necropolis, also called the city of the dead. The first graves there appeared thousand years ago, when there was a small settlement of dervishes. But the magnificent architectural ensemble, now visited by thousands of pilgrims was not built until the XVI century. In the X century when Bukhara was under the Samanid dynasty, there lived an old family of Djuybar Seyyids (Prophet Muhammad’s descendants), who played an important role in the city’s life.  Nogai Karvansarai.  Hello everyone  .  This day our first practise day . Today the weather is warm . Our practise teacher Djalilov Bakhodir . He is very strict . Today we go nogai Karvansarai. This historical place is very beautiful .  Now I give information about nogai Karvansarai. Among a great deal of sights, which decorate beautiful Bukhara, it is necessary to mention Nugay caravanserai in particular. This unique construction was founded in XVI century, when Muhammed Rakhimbiy Khan ruled here. Nugay, which is currently one of the most famous historical places in Bukhara, is located in the very heart of the old town. It stands near to the trade dome of Toki-Sarrafon and the House of Bukhara merchant. At those times building of caravanserais was an ordinary thing, and their meaning for single travelers and the whole caravans was really considerable. And I learnt a lot of information about it .  Saifiddin Caravanserai is a cultural heritage monument located in the historical center of Bukhara. The material and cultural heritage of Uzbekistan is included in the national list of immovable property objects - under state protection. I learnt  a.
